Engineer with progressive experience in user interface technology and integration
technology using Java and Web 2.0. Has designed
and developed pdf print functionality and user interfaces for the IBM Intelligent
Cities Operations and Planning (ICPO) product.On the IBM Integrated Information
Core v1.5, has designed and developed the product's adapter configuration tool, using
the Dojo library, REST services based on an IBM-enhanced version of the
open-source Apache Wink REST framework, EJB 3 and JPA. Also designed and implemented
the approach for securing against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks for
the product. Tooling used was IBM Rational Software Architect 7.5.5 and its respective
test environment. On the
integration side, has worked using WebSphere Integration Developer and WebSphere
Process Server, integrating data flows between products in the Product Lifecycle
Management (PLM) domain. Typically, this involves moving design data structures
between design software like PTC Windchill, Enovia CATIA and or Siemens TeamCenter,
simulation software like that from MSC, and manufacturing software like SAP. As far
as possible the data structures specified by the PLM Services standard were adopted. On the build
side, is responsible for the software configuration management (SCM) setup for

present: Software developer in the Industry Solutions
team of the Software Group, responsible
for development of new features for the Intelligent Cities Operations and Planning
(ICPO) product and the build of products such as Integrated Information Core (IIC),
Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) Feature Packs, and ICPO. I have also
developed the adapter
configuration user interface for the IIC product, a user interface for print
data governance
in the IIC product for a customer, DuPont, and enhancements to the ICPO infrastructure
planning user interface. 2008 - 2009: Software developer in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) group of the Software
Group. I worked on integration projects in the PLM domain, that included proof-of-concept
work at Renault Trucks, and development of an integration scenario for demonstration
purposes that showed simulation data flowing from PTC Windchill design software to
an MSC product for simulation and analysis, before the results are sent back
for viewing in PTC again. 2005 - 2007: Software developer in the Industry Solutions group of the Software
Group. I worked on
the user interface developed in WebSphere Portal using Struts technology for
the configuration of a manufacturing line in the automotive industry. Also
worked on work cell automation proof-of-concept project at Boeing that
involved the full development lifecycle, and where my focus was on the user
interface. 2000 - 2004: Consultant in the Supply Chain division of Global Business Services.
I worked on the precursor to WebSphere Process Server that was being
developed by IBM Research. My work was on the user interface component of the
product, and I worked on multiple proof of-concept engagements with clients
